Final thoughts of English class
Finally the semester is almost over!
Without a doubt, English was one of my favorite subjects this semester. The course in general is structured in a very good way, with updated content and dynamic study material. As for the teacher who teaches the class, I can only say good things, she is a very understanding person and passionate about teaching her students. She always has new activities planned so that we as students can learn in a more entertaining way. A clear example of the above would be the use of blogs, these have allowed me to express myself in a better way in English, since it is an interactive way of performing homework.
Anyone can use blogs, either to read the posts of others or write their own. You can include images, add fonts to the text, change the color of the letters, etc. In this way we express all the creativity that we carry inside. When I write my blogs, I try to make them visually attractive (again, I try haha)
Returning to the main topic of this post, English subject has helped me to enhance my skills. I consider that I have good skills in terms of fluency and pronunciation of the language. However, when it comes to listening and understanding when others speak to me, it is a little more difficult for me, especially when the speaker is British, understanding that accent is very difficult! I love how this accent sounds, I think it sounds elegant and polite. However, they have different expressions than Americans, English with which I am more familiar, because all the series, movies or videos that I see, I reproduce them in English, without subtitles, in this way I train my listening comprehension little by little.I think it's a good way to include English in everyday life in a calmer way, because I don't feel like I'm studying.
In conclusion, the English subject helped me a lot to learn things that I did not know before, I would definitely recommend this course to anyone who wants to learn English :)
